New Celebrant Training

Training to be a celebrant isn't just about learning to take funerals and weddings so our training offers you more. It is also about learning to cope with families in stressful situations and about running your own business as a self employed celebrant as well as many other things. The Institute of Professional Celebrants has built its training courses around the latest developments in adult learning theory. Using a combination of online video training and in person classroom sessions you will learn the theory and then practise the practice in a supportive environment with experienced professional celebrants and qualified and award winning tutors.
We'll cover the structure of the industry both in the UK and overseas. You'll learn the legal bits you must understand. We'll teach you the tips, tricks and techniques that transform a presentation from "ok" to "fantastic". We'll help you build your web and social media presence and give you tried and tested examples of ways to build and track your business. This course will take you way beyond the minimum required to pass your NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Funeral and Wedding Celebrancy qualification. By the end of the course you will be ready to step into this exciting and varied new career with a plan to execute and a community to support you along the way.
